Not many parishes have as many opportunities for confession as we do at Saint Mary’s. Yet we know many of us still hesitate or struggle when it comes to receiving this healing. Please don’t think the priests will think less of you because you have sinned. Priests also have to go to confession and are humbled whenever anyone comes to confession. Many times people don’t go because they forget the exact format of how to go to confession. Don’t worry - the priest will help you! 

The important thing is to make an examination of your conscience and make a break from any sinful habits, then go and see the priest. Christ will forgive you through the priest, restore you fully to the love of the Christian community, and hopefully bring you peace and inner harmony.
