Every hospital in the area is staffed by Catholic priests and chaplains. The priests of St. Mary’s are assigned to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. If you are ever in Newton-Wellesley Hospital and wish to be visited by a priest, please ask your nurse to contact the hospital chaplain. The Catholic chaplain at Newton-Wellesley is Ms. Marlene DeLeon. She is also available for visits and can arrange for Eucharistic Ministers to bring Communion when requested. Marlene can be reached at 617-243-5990. We also are happy to visit parishioners in other area hospitals upon request. Patients should first request a visit from the priests assigned to that hospital so they can receive the sacraments and prayers without delay.
