The elegant mosaic on the floor near the altar is a replica of a well-known mosaic located in Tabgha, at the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Tabgha is on the north-western shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. The town is best known as the place where Christ's miraculous multiplication of loaves and fishes took place (Mark 6:30-46).
